Tender Invitation – Internal Fit-Out Works for Hotel Expansion

The Evergreen Hotel is inviting qualified and experienced contractors to tender for internal fit-out works as part of our guest room expansion programme.

The works will involve the internal preparation, installation and finishing of two newly created hotel guest rooms, bringing them to full operational standard in line with our hospitality quality requirements.

Scope of Works

Internal partitioning and plastering, where applicable
Electrical, lighting and socket installation within the rooms
Plumbing connections and associated works for en-suite bathrooms
Flooring and wall finishes
Painting and decorating
Installation of fitted furniture and associated internal fittings
Associated finishing works required to bring the new guest rooms to operational standard
Compliance with relevant UK Building Regulations, health & safety requirements and applicable industry standards

Estimated Contract Value

£40,000 – £55,000 (excluding VAT)

Tender Requirements

Contractors wishing to tender should provide:

Company profile and details of relevant building, hotel, hospitality or commercial fit-out experience
Evidence of relevant qualifications, insurance and regulatory compliance
A detailed and itemised cost breakdown
Clear VAT status and confirmation of whether VAT is included in the quotation
Business name, address and telephone number
Company registration number
VAT registration number, where applicable
Company website details
Proposed project delivery timescale
Relevant client references or examples of similar completed works

All quotations should be prepared on a like-for-like basis against the stated procurement specification and addressed to The Evergreen Hotel.

Site visits can be arranged by prior appointment. Contractors requiring further information or clarification regarding the works are welcome to contact us by email.

Late submissions may not be considered.

Evaluation Criteria

Tenders will be assessed on the following criteria:

Price competitiveness – 40%
Quality of materials and workmanship – 40%
Delivery timescale and project management capability – 20%

The Evergreen Hotel reserves the right to select the contractor offering the best overall value, relevant experience, quality and ability to deliver the project successfully, and is not obliged to accept the lowest-priced quotation.
